How this list is built
Public schools ranked by how evenly their students are spread across five groups: Black, Hispanic, Asian, international, and everyone else (white, two or more races, Native American, Pacific Islander and unknown). A school that is mostly one group ranks low even when that group is not white. Schools need 1,000 or more students and a graduation rate of at least 35%, and a school missing any of the four reported shares is left out. Source: IPEDS DRVEF2023. For-profit schools are not included, and each list shows at most 30 schools.
