Having trouble? Common issues and fixes
Scanned or image-based PDF?
Quick Scan only works with text-based PDFs. If your transcript is a scanned image saved as PDF, take a screenshot of it and upload the image instead, or use Deep Scan which can read scanned documents.
Could not read your document?
Make sure the image is clear and well-lit. Crop out everything except the transcript. Avoid blurry photos or photos taken at an angle.
Password-protected PDF?
Some school portals export PDFs with password protection. Open the PDF, print it to a new PDF (without password), then upload that version.
Results look wrong?
After scanning, click the Edit button on your Academic Profile to correct any courses, grades, or scores that were read incorrectly.
